When I connect to the tor browser and do an IP check, it works with most IP lookup websites like whatismyip.net and whatismyip.com. They don't show my actual location but the one belonging to the tor exit node.

However, that's not the case with others like whatismyipaddress.com. This website is able to trace not just to my tor exit node but even to the tor entry node which is in a region quite near to where I actually live. Is this normal, how is it possible?

If this lesser known web service is able to trace my entry-node, it stands to reason that many other websites will also be able to do so. In that case, tor can't be called truly anonymous, isn't it?

Can you please add more details here? Where does the website show you your entry node's IP address? Can you attach screenshots showing your circuit, as well as the webpage contents? Have you changed any browser or tor settings? – Steve Nov 30 '20 at 14:38
