I am trying to debug a customized Tor relay node (which is dynamically instrumented), so I set up a small virtual network using Chutney. For some reason, the client Tor node in Chutney cannot connect to my Tor relay node (CHANNEL_CLOSED error) and my guess is that TCP/TLS might failed when the client attempted to build the circuit using my node. To confirm that I would like to use tshark. I'm quite new to this tool, and I tried:

tshark -i lo -f 'tcp port 9004'

(The relay Socket port is 9004 and I think I should be looking at loopback since the entire Chutney network is running on my localhost VM?) But tshark didn't capture anything when I start the network (./chutney start network/basic). Any ideas? Thanks!
