My download in TorBrowser always stops because it takes too long because the speed is too slow. Some servers break the connection if the download has been running too long.

Can I get more speed if I run a Tor daemon in parallel (not as exit relay but as relay-to-relay-daemon) and set the same family ID in both torrcs? Does V2Dir bring me anything?

What do I have to consider when creating and setting the family ID (in torrc)?

If the family ID is not an option, how can I prevent the Tor client from starting from the TorBrowser? If I then enter the SocksPort of my Tor Daemon and the ControlPort in the TorBrowser, do I have a working TorBrowser or only limited? Where do I have to change ControlPort in TorBrowser?
