I have been very curious about the dark web and the deep dark web if there is a difference but my computer got stolen I haven’t got a new one yet but I have an iPhone8 and if something meone could please help me figure out how to go about this I would be very thankful. So if someone could give me some help by telling me how to go about this like I have never used the internet I would appreciate it more than you know. I’ve been intrigued for so long but I just can’t get anyone to help.

  • The deep web is content that's not indexed by search engines like Google, such as content you need an account to access. The dark web is also not indexed, but goes further like tor hidden services which require the use of tor to access. – Tanath Sep 6 at 21:24

This link is from Dr. Paul Syverson who is one of the original developers of Tor. Most of us who work with or in the Tor Project do not like or use the terms Dark Web and Deep Web. They are terms that are used as clickbait to frighten people.

If you want the truth:

What is Tor?

The Tor network is a group of volunteer-operated servers that allows people to improve their privacy and security on the Internet. Tor's users employ this network by connecting through a series of virtual tunnels rather than making a direct connection, thus allowing both organizations and individuals to share information over public networks without compromising their privacy. Along the same line, Tor is an effective censorship circumvention tool, allowing its users to reach otherwise blocked destinations or content. Tor can also be used as a building block for software developers to create new communication tools with built-in privacy features.
