I'm trying to host a hidden service and installed Tor in Ubuntu 18 with Nginx. Following is my torcc configuration.

HiddenServiceDir /var/lib/tor/my_hidden_service
HiddenServicePort 80 127.0.0.1:8080

I restarted tor and when I checked the Hidden Service Directory no files have been created. (Host File and Private Key)

I checked for any errors using tor --verify config and I come across with the following.

Apr 21 07:31:59.434 [notice] Read configuration file "/etc/tor/torrc".
Apr 21 07:31:59.438 [warn] Permissions on directory /var/lib/tor/my_hidden_service/ are too permissive.
Apr 21 07:31:59.438 [warn] Failed to parse/validate config: Failed to configure rendezvous options. See logs for details.
Apr 21 07:31:59.438 [err] Reading config failed--see warnings above.

Seems like a permission issue. I'd appreciate a little help on this.
