Tor Browser 8.5a10

NoScript 10.2.4

MacOS 10.13.6 (High Sierra)

The NoScript menu is missing from the address bar, so I cannot allow/disallow scripts on the web page that I am currently on. I can choose NoScript from the context menu, but it does nothing - the NoScript dialog does not appear.

I can view NoScript preferences from the Add-ons preferences page, but that doesn't help on a page-by-page basis.

Is anyone else seeing this? Anyone have any thoughts about what's going on?

EDIT: I tried downloading a new copy of 8.5a10 and a new copy of 8.0.8. Both show the same behaviour: there is no NoScript icon/menu and I cannot change the script permissions on a page-by-page basis.

So it appears to be something to do with my machine. A reboot didn't help.

Not sure where to go now...

  • It would be best to raise this as a bug report so that it will be fixed in future versions, and then revert to the latest stable Tor Browser release. I’m not running the alpha so I don’t know if it’s reproducible. – Steve Mar 25 at 17:16
