Tor fails to establish a connection. I'd be grateful for any help.

  • On what connection do you use Tor? My impression is that the provider blocks Tor and it might help to use bridges. – Jens Kubieziel Sep 7 at 9:34

The connection failure seen in the logs sometimes happens to me when I set a fixed guard node.

Check you torrc if you have the value EntryNodes set.

If you have, try again without the EntryNodes value.
