Mar 27, 2018 at 16:36 comment added pastly Most likely they are blocking connections to the Tor network and a bridge would solve the problem. It's also possible Tor Browser needs to be told to use your school's HTTP(S) proxy in order to reach the Internet, if your school has one and blocks traffic that doesn't go through it.
